Supporting The Institute of Mind Body Integration
Our mission is to expand the reach of Synchronized Synergistic Therapy (SST) across the globe through treatment of those recovering from trauma and training professionals in a variety of disciplines to practice SST. We are pleased to offer scholarship tracks to support and fund clinical treatment so the cost of their care is not a barrier to healing.
Through our SST Care Fund, we currently offer the following trauma-specific SST treatment scholarships for clients needing additional support:
SST HOPE FUND
Financial Need Based Treatment Scholarships
We also offer financial need SST treatment scholarships for clients who may not be able to otherwise afford the cost of treatment and would benefit from much-needed care. Donations support sliding scale payments to subsidize and ease care costs to the client as well as provide for individual therapies and supportive treatment options (neurofeedback, acupuncture, massage therapy).
SST Research Development Fund
The Institute of Mind Body Integration is committed to furthering trauma-informed evidenced based research and is actively developing research programs on the efficacy of SST via outcome measures. Donors may contribute to the development of SST as an evidenced-based therapy to support its reach and expansion into the broader clinical and scientific worlds.
SST Clinical Program Development Fund
Donors can contribute to the further development and expansion of SST and clinical programming at The Institute of Mind Body Integration. Additionally, supporting current SST clinicians with in-kind hours already donated to the development of SST.
SST TRAINING FUND
Certified Professional Training Scholarships
Training the next generation of practitioners is essential to expanding the availability and recognition of Synchronized Synergistic Therapy (SST) worldwide.
This growth depends on clinicians receiving comprehensive training, mentorship, and completing a formal certification process as SST practitioners.
To support this effort, the foundation offers financial-need scholarships for practitioners pursuing SST training. These scholarships help provide financial support as professionals begin their SST education and continue developing their clinical practice.
The cost for one professional to receive a comprehensive clinical SST training program and become a Certified SST Practitioner is $3000. One trained SST clinician could provide healing SST treatments to hundreds or thousands of survivors of trauma across their career. Supporting the training and development of SST clinicians ensures SST can reach those in need for generations to come.
Through The SST Hope Fund, we support individuals navigating a wide range of traumatic experiences. These may include:
Veterans and Military Personnel
Natural Disaster Survivors
Survivors of sexual trauma, abuse, or violence
Survivors of Terrorism and School Shootings
Survivors of Medical Trauma
Law Enforcement & First Responders
Those grieving suicide loss or impacted by suicide
Victims of Crime
Caregivers and others experiencing chronic stress or burnout
Those facing end-of-life transitions and death-related anxiety
People living with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
Those healing from medical or complex health trauma
The Richard G. Schulman Scholarship Fund
The Richard G. Schulman Scholarship Fund honors the legacy of Richard G. Schulman by providing a fully funded scholarship for Synchronized Synergistic Therapy (SST) to an individual in need of trauma treatment. This scholarship covers the complete SST treatment program, ensuring that financial limitations do not prevent someone from accessing comprehensive care.
Through this fund, recipients receive the full course of SST services at no cost, allowing them to fully engage in the therapeutic process and their healing journey. The scholarship reflects Richard’s enduring legacy of compassion, generosity, and commitment to helping others find healing and support.
Fully funded SST treatment scholarships include 9 sessions (3 SST preparation sessions, 3 SST trauma healing sessions, 3 post-SST integration sessions). Additionally, 3 individual therapies/supportive treatments are provided to augment the healing process. The cost for one survivor to receive a comprehensive SST treatment program through The Richard G. Schulman Scholarship Fund is $3500.
